The company specializes in multi-screen solutions utilizing a single CPU chassis. Designed and implemented the rendering engine, created 3D databases and all artwork. Delivered systems include police driving simulators, bus driving simulators in Mexico, truck driving simulators for the Kennecott copper mine and semi-truck training, Bridgestone’s “Open Wheel Racing” support trucks, the “Winfield F1” racing experience and the “Driver Technology Laboratory” simulators in the GM pavilion at Epcot.Additional developments support Archery and include a 4 camera video capture system for coaching archers along with low-cost lane monitors so archers can more readily view their hits on target.

Transitioned legacy Windows 7 DirectX 9 code base for mission control systems to Windows 10 DirectX 11:- Original code had multiple graphics rendering engines. Within 2 months of declassification of the code base, centralized and abstracted the graphics functions to ease transition and aid long term support.- Base graphics utility layer was created so that it could be optional allowing DLL development in support of applications such as MetaVR's VRSG virtual simulation package.- Upgraded all shaders to HLSL 5.0- Created demonstrations showcasing multiple video/hud displays along with the standard touch screen interface from a single application and other features desired by the systems architect.Matured the demonstration elements as the central engine for a Video Processing Framework:- Created the system to support multiple application DLLs loaded by a central processing framework.- XML or DataCache driven dynamic layout supports central video streams being displayed with any combination of filter effects. Many simultaneous views, all with differing effects, can be displayed without performance degradation. - Added new HUD elements and improved the structure and reuse of xml elementsDeveloped Visual Testing Plugin and supporting automation:- Created a test plugin that can exercise all the video/hud display effects of the Video Processing Framework. Added test hooks to allow post update/render processing and dynamic analysis.- Created high performance image comparison shaders to automate comparison and generation of difference & “Heat” maps to highlight areas of concern. All outputs go to a CSV file for Excel reports. - Created demonstration Jenkins automation supporting the Git pull, build, install, visual test run, along with automated Excel sheet updates and posting.-
