Started in the painting industry in 2004 which led to 16 years working in the field primarily painting but then evolved into roofing, remodeling, handyman work, and project management. Spent 4 years in warehouse, fleet & safety, delivery dispatch, inside sales, and inventory manangement on the roofing distribution side of the industry for Beacon roofing supply.Started my business Dc's Contracting LLC in 2016 but went 100% on my own mid 2018 with more of a general contracting approach for the first 6 years. Then dialed down and focused on painting only which led to a brand and structure change towards the end of 2023. Formed DC Painting KC to exclusively provide residential and commercial related painting services. This is my primary focus with a long term goal to build the business to benefit the next generations and to foster partnerships with community outreach organizations to help those in need. September 2024 I formed Thermal Coating Kansas City as a distribution partner with RTS & Enviro-Thermal Coatings to bring wholesale product offerings to the contracting network in our area. We now have the ability to supply B2B relationships and with the painting business provide B2C installation of thermal to our direct customer base. Our focus is to revolutionize the way we do waterproofing in KC.
