• Responsible for daily and monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and to develop monthly financial reports.• Use credit union data to create analysis reports for marketing, loans, and financials.• Responsible for the various monthly and quarterly and year end financial statements and for the various budget preparations for the annual budget.• Facilitated communication with internal and external auditors with monthly statements and reports.• Manage credit union’s book of investments; prepare investment related reports and periodic due diligence reports, assist CFO in purchasing investments, analyze investment options. • Prepare reports related to loans, loan charge-offs, and loan recoveries.• Manage Accounts Payables; process invoices, manage vendors, prepare monthly expense reports.• Responsible for fixed assets and prepaids; post entries and balance prepaid and fixed asset subsidiary ledgers, manage inventory, post monthly accruals. • Perform daily tasks; troubleshoot GL outages, assist in liquidity report, post journal entries, provide staff support to credit union branches, reconcile bank statements and transfer funds as needed, reconcile general ledger accounts.• Assumed responsibility for resolving outstanding balance sheet items, including accounts, suspense & accruals, and receivables, and balance sheet items.• Responsible for billing and collection of various account receivables.• Implement changes required by GAAP.• Responsible for the financial report production, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, improve profitability and cash flow, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.• Analyze financial information to produce forecasts of business, and economic conditions for use in making investment decisions.
