In the course of the evaluation the evaluation team also conducted two internet based surveys (one of Japanese client companies and another of ITPO delegates) and interviewed UNIDO staff at its Headquarters in Vienna.The team evaluated the Investment & Technology Promotion Office (ITPO) Tokyo, which aimed at enabling UNIDO and the Government of Japan to make informed decisions as to an extension and possible re-orientation of the relevant ITPOs, to identify best practices, bottlenecks and problem areas and make recommendations for possible future projects.

In the course of the evaluation the evaluation team also conducted an extended survey collecting feedback from client companies and both in Italy and in partner countries. They also interviewed UNIDO staff at its Headquarters in Vienna.The team evaluated the Investment & Technology Promotion Office (ITPO) Italy, which aimed at enabling UNIDO and the Government of Italy to make informed decisions as to an extension and possible re-orientation of the relevant ITPOs, to identify best practices, bottlenecks and problem areas and make recommendations for possible future projects.
