Under this role my main responsibilities are to:  Ensure effective project management for all consultancy projects by supporting project management team and resolving challenges.  Manage and guide all consultancy projects through their lifecycle, overseeing project planning, project set-up, execution, and completion of consultancy projects within established budgets and timelines.  Meet with project managers repeatedly through the week so as to best track and evaluate consultancy projects and pro-gress to address issues and initiate appropriate corrective actions. Produce and defend quarterly reports to the board on the project revenues, profits, delays and other tracking matrices I cre-ated. Produce and/or review consultancy proposals before submission to potential clients, ensuring clear definition of scope and schedule to address the needs of the potential client.My main achievements under this role include:  Organized and streamlined the processes of project management as the only manager of the project quadrant since the company’s restructuring in ~2019 Designed and implemented new execution processes for consultancy projects and proposals.  Designed and implemented project tracking and updating protocols

Caribbean Wide

Under this role my main responsibilities are to:  Be the technical lead for beach stabilization design, coastal zone management planning, port feasibility analysis and design of port and marine structures and related projects throughout the entire English-speaking Caribbean. [Project description catalogue attached].  Be the technical lead for drainage master planning projects, involving watershed and flooding analysis as well as drainage design, with particular focus on designing drainage ‘tie-ins’ with the shoreline.  Analyze coastal zone hazards, performing detailed vulnerability analyses and developing risk management plans through mapping of hazard zones from inundation by storm surge and/or hurricane waves, as well as riverine and pluvial flooding analyses.  Manage projects with national policy implications, balancing stakeholder goals, the regulatory environment, coastal engi-neering possibilities, and site restrictions.  Develop climate change adaptation strategies, implementation and management plans for ‘at-risk’ communities throughout the Caribbean. Lead ‘design-build’ projects for coastal and marine structures, providing on-site expertise and supervision and management of construction activities.  Monitor construction projects, including tracking project progress and communicating with relevant parties.My main achievements under this role include:  Spearheaded the integration of various project management software to assist in the effective management of the engi-neering consultancy projects.  Developed excellent client relationships, significantly contributing to the company’s experience with customer loyalty, high levels of customer referrals, no bid contracts, and repeat business. Formed good relationships with environmental regulatory community because of alignment of values.  Developed and led all the team building activities among all staff members.

Caribbean Region

Under this role my main responsibilities were to:  Assess coastal processes such as swell and hurricane waves, storm surge, currents, and sediment transport using various coastal engineering computer programs. Interpret the results of this modelling and clearly articulated the recommendations in her reports to government agencies, development banks, and property owners. Lead field exercises inclusive of equipment deployment and retrieval, monitoring surveys, stakeholder / community inter-views, pollutant tracking, measurement of indicators such as current speed, river flow etc.  Develop coastal and marine impact assessments inclusive of climate change analyses and specifics regarding mitigation strategies including eco-system-based adaptation strategies. My main achievements under this role included:  Conceptualization of the design of some ‘green/grey’ hybrid structures which had never before been used in the company.  Expansion of the company’s portfolio to include certain environmentally focused projects which had never been done previously such as contaminated site assessments etc.

Kingston, Jamaica

Under this role my main responsibilities were to:  Coastal design work and various multi-disciplinary projects related to coastal zone development. This included design of coastal and marine structures, structural assessments and construction management General environmental engineering design including wastewater treatment, environmental impact assessments, hydrology and hydraulic analysis. Field investigations including bathymetric surveying, equipment deployment etc. Document preparation including tender and contract documents; preparation of technical proposals to IDB standards as well as technical analysis and engineering reports.My main achievements under this role included:  High success rate of technical proposals I prepared being awarded.
