GENERAL SUMMARY The Supply Chain Operations Supervisor reports to the Supply Chain Director and is responsible for managing collaborative processes with various service lines i.e., Hospital Services, Technical Services and Home Services. Additionally, this position plays a critical role in supporting dialysis care for patients and works as a liaison between clinical services and Supply Chain to effectively improve clinical outcomes through supply management. This position uses creative and critical thinking to manage supplies, staff, daily planning, and processes that will improve operational efficiency, as well as impact the department’s overall financial performance. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Accomplish performance goals by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching and counseling employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and standards of practice. 2. Maintain workflow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments. 3. Work collaboratively in identifying inefficiencies and opportunities of supply utilization. Facilitate this by assigning appropriate personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.4. Coordinate and/or perform Supply Chain troubleshooting and expediting functions; and is responsible for communications with department heads, Supply Chain Leadership, and other personnel.5. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with Purchasing and Receiving Supervisor and Warehouse Super.
