As the National Director, I managed and direct the work of the Outreach and Customer Care Program, serves as the chief spokesperson and focal point for overall workforce development system activities and issues within the scope of responsibility of the Outreach Program: brings together the staff resources of the Outreach Program to facilitate the exchange of information; and coordinates the resolution of issues, and implementation of action plans as appropriate, ensuring that all program efforts are strategically aligned in furtherance of developing an effective workforce development system that benefits small businesses.The Office of Small Business Utilization is responsible for advocating for small, minority, veteran, HUBZone, and women business owners. OSBU engages in activities that make it possible for the small business community to meet key contracting experts and be counseled on the procurement process. OSBU monitors and implements small business policies and manage a range of programs mandated by law.
