My role is to impart onto new hires and current employees knowledge and skills to perform business the WestJet Way. With a strong focus on our Mission, Vision and Values, I train new agents to understand why and how we do things our way, and how that is important to the success of the business. I also train agents how to use various applications to be able to perform their customer service related tasks. Finally, I also have the responsibility of training out regulatory programs which focus on safety, managing unruly or disruptive travellers, and sensitivity when assisting guests with unique needs (Ex. guests who require a wheelchair, or guests who are visually impaired, etc.).
