In my recent role, I managed facility operations, warehouse, distribution, stock purchasing and planning across four sites in Victoria, NSW, Brisbane and Perth with a total of 18 incumbents. As this was a leadership role, I undertook corporate sites governance, including strategic short- and long-term planning and implementation of policies and standards, including workplace health and safety compliance. Maintaining a forward-looking focus, I drove continuous improvement initiatives and reviewed operational systems processes to support operational efficiencies. Ensuring achievement of objectives, I performed organisational planning, developing and reviewing key performance indicators to include metrics that may highlight improvements to the national operation. Utilising my collaborative skills, I liaised with the organisation’s senior management team to support the development of organisational strategies.Key Achievements:• Successfully developed and implemented processes in relation to safety and operational processes whilst providing leadership to achieve the company’s strategic and operational objectives.• Effectively maintained a collaborative culture in the workplace and encouraged continuous improvement through coaching.• Reduced incorrect orders being dispatched through the implementation of relevant processes.• Efficiently managed the reordering processes, ensuring that stock holding was kept at 4 stock turns per annum.• Acted as the Project Manager for the setup of the new storage infrastructure and the relocation of two sites nationally.

Fiorelli Group VICIn this 3PL focused role, I maintained the Warehouse Management System and provided operational leadership to a team of 17 members, overseeing daily functions, workflows and processes, ensuring continuous improvement. Supporting the efficiency of stock processes, I undertook inventory management to reduce non-productive inventory whilst maintaining stock integrity and coordinating with partners and management to plan in-stock rotation performance. With my engagement capabilities, I built and developed strong working relationships with the vendor and provided feedback to maintenance performance. Committing to organisational success, I provided support to the development of the organisation, such as identifying cost impacts, making recommendations to support business initiatives, maintaining customer contact and enhancing service levels.Key Achievements:• Successfully facilitated the implementation of the 3PL Warehouse Management System, as well as the traffic plan on site.• Introduced basic HACCP principles and directed the movement of over 360 food perishable lines whilst ensuring that DIFOT is maintained to the agreed target of 95%.

This was a multifaceted role where I handled account management, pre-press label development, production scheduling to achieve contractual obligations and the management of raw material supplies. Coordinating change management for operations, I assisted with transition management for Schweppes Australia from Orora to Visy, as well as transition of Heinz. Adhering to production requirements, I managed all packaging requirements for domestic and export customers, as well as all-metal requirements for all production sizes, liaising with the Purchasing Officer to ensure that all volumes were met. Furthermore, I acted as the primary point-of-contact for all NCRs, leading investigations into the root cause and preventative actions to improve processes with a focus on adding value to the customer. Utilising my communication skills, I managed relationship with key customers on quality and production requirements, including forecasting and new product development for Schweppes Australia, Lion Australia, Monster, DB, Lion NZ and GBNC Noumea. Supporting other facets of operations, I was also the Senior Management Representative on the Environment/Health & Safety Committee.Key Achievements:• Co-managed the 206 to 202 can size change with major customers in a timely manner and within budgets.• Played an integral part of the Lion Nathan and DB teams, coordinated can size changes, facilitated customer engineering team meetings and ran out of stocks to within $15k of packaging against the expectation of $80k.• Received the Acting with Integrity Award for Customer Service in 2022.• Supported the site rollout of the HACCP Plan to achieve accreditation and developed all NPD and Trial procedures.• Successfully reduced spoilage and increased efficiency by developing the Forecast Manager software package in conjunction with the internal IT Department.• Effectively redesigned the warehouse layout, increasing storage capacity and creating annual savings of $105k.
