Serves as the senior military public affairs officer at the Defense Intelligence Agency headquarters, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling; conducts the public affairs program for DIA, with responsibility for planning, developing and executing the Director's Communication Synchronization Strategy to inform key publics and stakeholders about DIA's programs, policies, and activities. Serves as an expert advisor on all public affairs issues to the director and other staff primaries. Directly manages the media relations division, social media team and news operations. The USACC Public Affairs Office plans, synchronizes and executes all USACC external communications in order inform the American people, often in direct support of our recruiting mission. We will do this by providing training and guidance to our subordinate brigades and programs as well as designing communication plans to increase knowledge about ROTC, change the American people’s attitude about ROTC, service to the nation and ultimately allow them to view ROTC as legitimate career choice. (Knowledge, Attitude, Behavior) Ultimately our external communications plans will provide for better coordination and execution of initiatives designed to recruit the highest quality Cadets in support of the priorities of USACC and the needs of the Army.
