This platform effectively leverages Machine Learning clustering techniques to group SMS messaging traffic based upon message similarity and reacts to the labels that administrators provide, allowing for the effective removal of unwanted SMS spam from the P2P SMS messaging ecosystem. - Trained and mentored individuals to lead engineering groups within other business units.

- Managed a cross-functional team consisting of software and database architects, Java application developers, PL/SQL Oracle and Sybase ASE/IQ developers, UI developers and operational L3 support engineers. - Starting with my own product conception, I managed a cross-functional team through the design, implementation, delivery, and eventual support of a robust, highly available Mobile Number Portability (MNP) platform that normalizes and manages both range and ported mobile number data from a wide array of global number authorities. - Led an engineering effort with a cross-functional team to architect a new messaging platform called Routing Services (RS). The system has greatly simplified the complexity of platform management that existed with the preceding architecture and there were significant gains to the overall platform throughput of our messaging platform by a factor of x20 while minimizing the absolute latency of SMS traffic traversing the system.

(Web.com acquired Network Solutions Inc. in 2011)- Network Solutions, at the point of my arrival as a Junior Software Engineer during the internet bubble of the late 90's, held a monopoly on all domain registrations for .com, .net and .org.- Participated in all aspects of software development over the eight years of employment, becoming highly proficient as an application developer (C, C++, Java), a database developer (Ingres, Oracle PL/SQL) and eventually a technical team leader. - Directly managed the development effort to migrate from our legacy billing platform to a next-gen billing solution at the time called SingleView. I spent several weeks training abroad on the product and was ultimately put in charge of training and mentoring internal resources and shortly thereafter, responsible for managing the project to completion.

- Served as a tactical radar electronic technician during Operation Desert Storm and was responsible for the 24x7 operational readiness of all systems during the conflict. - Gained significant leadership experience during my enlistment with the Marine Corps that I have carried with me throughout my professional career.
