I have over 20 years of experience in software and algorithm development in supply chain and marketing. I led the development team which produced LLamasoft's flagship Supply Chain Guru, the industry leading supply chain design software. Subsequently, I took over the web development team which implemented the first generation of LLamasoft's web-based Supply Chain Design software including successful cloud powered algorithm solving capabilities. I was then promoted to manage 5 teams, comprising 40 members, building LLamasoft's next generation web platform. In 2017, I started leading the Applied Research group who develops mathematical and data science powered algorithms to optimize supply chain networks. This team is composed of 26 members, 17 of which have PhD's, who are deeply engaged in developing and improving algorithms that address supply chain structure, transportation route design, safety stock optimization, simulation and demand forecasting challenges.As Vice President of Applied Research, I am also leading the LLamasoft initiative to establish a vibrant, cutting edge Data Science practice that focuses on a wide variety of supply chain business problems.I value teamwork and consider myself a servant leader focused on making each individual on my team successful.
