Successful completion of POI is a key unit requirement in attaining Department of the Army's approval to deploy for combat operations.

Prioritized, coordinated, and de-conflicted airspace for over 1,800 rotary, fixed-wing aircraft and UAS systems supporting over 165,000 coalition personnel. Facilitated rapid prosecution of time sensitive targets, troop-in-contact actions culminating in new tactics and doctrine briefed to and implemented by the CJFACC, earning a USAF Commendation medal. Provided organization, support and protection of recovery operations (PRCC) and downed aircraft and aircrews (DARRT) successfully integrating a hostage prevention and rescue program with the Department of State. Established and coordinated the Corps Commander’s senior leader and staff Monthly Aviation Conference. Also awarded Bronze Star and Joint Service Commendation medals.
