Advise General Officers and Senior Afghan Air Force personnel on conventional and special operations aviation planning, preparation, execution and After Action reviews; collect, review, analyze metrics specified to assess training, operational and transitional expectations of the TAAC-Air CJ3 and 438AEW/TAAC-Air Senior Staff and Group Commander.

Coached, counseled and mentored transitioning Soldiers and DoD civilians in their transition from military/government service. Principally counseled and assisted with resume development and translation to job search opportunities. Assisted with translating military skills to civilian employment opportunities. Provided transitioning service members with the job search support agency information and opportunities available on the internet, local, state, regional, National and International employment search engines and websites. Ensured transitioning service members met all requirements for a successful transition per DoD regulations and guidance. Our location at Fort Hood, Texas supported the largest military post in the free world (45,000 +).

Based out of Fort Hood's Central Texas Support Facility. Primary focus was training Corps, Division and Brigade's preparing for combat deployments in operations and sustainment with the Army Mission Command Systems (AMCS). Position was as System Administrator and Staff Integrator. Formal and Over-the-Shoulder (OTS) training with PEOC3T equipment including all AMCS systems (CPOF, BCCS, AFATDS, TAIS, BFT etc.), SICCPS shelter and establishing tactical military internet and secure communications for entire AMCS suite issued to units. Presented the formal POI then transitioned to establishing and verifying unit personnel's understanding and ability to execute their SOPs and Mission Command to support Commander's Intent and ability to maintain operations over time. Required DoD Top Secret-SCI security clearance and ability to deploy into combat theaters as required. Attained Task Lead Staff Integrator which required coordinating with the unit from inception to training execution. Successful completion of POI is a key unit requirement in attaining Department of the Army's approval to deploy for combat operations.

Leader responsible for the operational support of an organization consisting of over 900 personnel, 127 helicopters, a Shadow UAS fleet, 390 vehicles, 3 specialized facilities and equipment valued at $2.844 billion dollars. Maintained combat readiness, provided logistics, satellite communications, UAS integration, ground systems maintenance and aviation maintenance support for an aviation brigade comprised of over 2,700 personnel, 120 combat aircraft/UAS and 560 vehicles. Senior aviation logistics/maintenance advisor to the Brigade and Division Commanders, providing critical aviation logistics support to a diverse, multinational organization, implemented precise management of maintenance capacity, personnel skills, multi-classes of supply warehouse activities, and retail supply management preparing multiple aviation task forces for combat deployment.

Provided critical combat airspace coordination during the “Surge” of 2006-2008, asset integration, reporting and de-confliction to MNC-I. Supervised the Corps-level and Coalition ATS and AC2 sections; Provided Tactical Airspace Integration systems (TAIS) and associated equipment ensuring timely and accurate airspace control measure requests; integrated joint fires, manned and unmanned air assets; coordinated with all MSCs, Coalition partners, MEF, BCD and Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC). Organized and implemented a project management program resulting in safe control over a complex metropolitan area in a wartime environment. Developed key airspace procedures/doctrine enabling rapid and precise combat target prosecution. Prioritized, coordinated, and de-conflicted airspace for over 1,800 rotary, fixed-wing aircraft and UAS systems supporting over 165,000 coalition personnel. Facilitated rapid prosecution of time sensitive targets, troop-in-contact actions culminating in new tactics and doctrine briefed to and implemented by the CJFACC, earning a USAF Commendation medal. Provided organization, support and protection of recovery operations (PRCC) and downed aircraft and aircrews (DARRT) successfully integrating a hostage prevention and rescue program with the Department of State. Established and coordinated the Corps Commander’s senior leader and staff Monthly Aviation Conference. Also awarded Bronze Star and Joint Service Commendation medals.
