Oversaw product improvements and customer-requested options through a team of 7 engineers with full responsibility for the technical content for KOHLER’s commercial twin cylinder spark ignited engines. Supported and advised on manufacturing and purchasing productivity initiatives.

Managed KOHLER Engine New Product Development (NPD) Design Engineers. The team supported all activities for the new engine designs. Led committees for design consistency and Z-specs.

Designed and developed new engine designs including the WH265, Command Pro 999, and Courage Twin. Technical Specialist for crank-train (crankshafts, gears, connecting rods, and bearings).

Worked on product improvements and customer options. Supported and advised on manufacturing and purchasing productivity initiatives. Propane fuel systems expert for Engine Engineering.

Integration of engines into applications to ensure the engine was sized correctly, cooling capacity was sufficient and service aspects were appropriate. Worked directly with customers on technical issues.
