Disabled Veteran
CurrentMedically retired disabled Veteran looking for something to do. Used to like going for short walks with the dogs and fishing. Dealing with leg and foot pain that makes walking too far an issue. My walker is my buddy now, yet is becoming more a necessity the older I get. This webble wabbles and will fall down without my walker. Found my walker is great on level paved surfaces, just don't try going off road with it, you can still find yourself on your butt. The hardest part of accepting my limitations is the isolation and not having a place to go and people to see regularly. My wife needs our car so I'm stuck at home all day.Lucky for me I have my wife and God and my Church family in my life so I'm not totally alone.Still looking for some remote work I can do to help my wife pay the bills. I feel I still have quite a bit of my life left and don't want to play the victim and just sit around doing nothing.
