At SSOE, an architecture and engineering firm in Hillsboro, Oregon, I worked with my mentor to explore broad automation ideas to facilitate easy transfer of information between Revit models and project deliverables. I spent much of my time creating Dynamo workflows for tasks such as tagging Revit elements, exporting Revit data into other formats, and creating custom text notes. I also investigated existing Word-based software implementing Visual Basic to produce datasheets and instrument indexes, and worked towards adapting this software to company standards. Other projects included assisting in the development of project deliverables, and creating flowcharts, Sharepoint pages, written guides, and other documentation for my workflows and research.
