I am responsible for technically selling and supporting company products and services into customers and channel resellers in Tripwire’s UK / EMEA Market. I work closely with field sales, inside sales, Resellers, customer service/technical support and various corporate key contributors. I possess a pre-sales/sales/professional services and architecture background in enterprise application technologies and various software applications as well as have the ability to enable and train others.I provide technical overviews of our product architecture, functionality, system / data requirements, and integration with other enterprise applications. I support Tripwire account teams and partners for major opportunities and RFI/RFP responses. I discuss and demonstrate how Tripwire solutions map to Security, Change Management, Vulnerability Management processes & ITIL best practices within the IT service management framework. I also deliver customer specific technical product demonstrations and assist customers with growth and migration planning. I provide prospective customers with expert assistance in setting up and evaluating the Tripwire software solutions within their testing and staging environments (Proof of concept and Pilot installations) as well as provide post-sales customer support, act as a principal liaison to product marketing and product engineering in communicating customer requirements and information.

Providing consultancy and training to Tripwire customers at all levels. Activities range from simple installation engagements through to long term technical deisgn authority roles covering deployments with thousands of nodes. Also, a Certified Tripwire Instructor and regularly teach Certified Tripwire Operator and Certified Tripwire Professional courses.Technologies covered include File Integrity Monitoring, Log Management, Security Incident and Event Management, Compliance monitoring and remediation (CIS, PCI, SOX, DISA, ISO 27001, NERC, DISA, COBIT, NIST/FISMA, HIPPA) on platforms including Windows, Linux, Solaris, HPUX, AIX, Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL, VMWare ESX and Active Directory.My work also requires detailed knowledge of the following areas:network infrastructure design and configuration, including routing, clustering, naming and DNS, DHCP, NIC teaming, NAT, DMZ structure and VLANs, configuration of firewalls and switches and integration with any network devices via login/logout scripts and TFTP scripting, SNMP and Syslog;management of windows systems, including domain design, group policy structure and management, scripting, active directory configuration and integration, WMI integration and scripting, files/registry permission lockdown, networking configurations etc;management of UNIX systems, including Linux, Solaris, HPUX, AIX, shell scripting, network configurations etc;database design, scaling, configuration and integration for MySQL, MS SQL Server and Oracle;generation of bespoke applications and complex regex to facilitate business logic where built-in operating system scripting models are insufficient or inefficient.
