I have been involved in the residential building industry for more than thirty years, with an unwavering passion for creating interesting and unique buildings. In 1999, I started my own residential building company. As our design and building philosophies, and our team, evolved I rebranded the company as Humphrey Homes in 2012 as a registered architectural practice.I work personally with each and every client, along with our in house architect, to help them create a home that is architecturally unique and reflects the owners individual lifestyle needs: from initial conceptual design, interior styling, construction right through to handover. Humphrey Homes has been awarded 35 industry building awards, and is recognised as of Perth's most innovative custom architects and builders. In December 2016 the company won HIA AUSTRALIAN Professional Small Builder of the Year. This award reflects far more than our end product. It reflects the company's systems and processes which allow us to create beautiful homes efficiently and to a very high level, time and time again.I am a member of the Master Builders Association and the Housing Industry Association (HIA) where I'm Chairman of HIA's Technical Services Committee. I also sit on the HIA Regional Executive Committee. Humphrey Homes is a member of the Architects Board of Western Australia and an A+ member of the Australian Institute of Architects.Put simply, my passion goes beyond building high quality homes. As an architectural practice as well, I am truly excited to guide our clients in developing a clear vision for their new home before construction commences. The foundations of our company philosophies are built on our commitment to integrate the architecture and the building processes for our clients; connecting every one of the many links in the design and building chain to create a very efficient and seamless (and dare we say enjoyable) process for clients.
