I am a Certified Substance Abuse and trauma counselor/ therapist and I am very interested in learning more about this position. I have been working in the field for over 5 years in total and have been doing primarily group and individual therapy sessions for the last 3.5 years I received my undergraduate bachelors degree from Penn State University and graduated from UCLA’s counseling secondary education program.I have almost 7,500 hours of documented work (including completing the programs supervised hours internship Practicum) in field at all levels of care from detox to residential to IOP & OP. CADTP is nationally recognized and passed their IC&RC Exam to become officially licensed in August 2022 as a SUDCC I. Currently I am just 2,500 hours away &haveExperience the field at all levels of care from detox to residential to IOP & OP. I passed California’s CADTP accrediting body which is nationally recognized and passed their IC&RC Exam to become officially licensed in August 2022 as a SUDCC I. Currently I am just 2,500 hours from my SUDCCII My license is transferable to all 50 states allowing me to work remotely with clients all across the country. I have significant experience working with clients of almost every demographic, through Zoom as well as in person.I am currently working with a program that is called No Matter What Recovery, whose primary population is LGBTQIA+.I have been with NMW since they opened 3 years ago and have done groups, individual sessions primarily, with some case management as well. I hope to add more group or individual sessions to my case load as I truly love my job and I feel lucky to be able to say that.I am able to relate and connect with any and all demographics with varying individualized issues.
