My name is Deanna Harper and my last job experience was a Customer Advocate. I also previously worked as a College Adviser with the TCU College Advising Corps. I served students at Eastern Hills High School to help them achieve post-secondary success. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas Christian University and had minors in Criminal Justice and Social Work. As an undergraduate, I was a Community Scholar and part of TCU's Leadership Scholar's Program. I took on several leadership roles during my undergraduate career such as led teams of students as a part of GlobalEx, an organization that focuses on diversity and bringing different cultures together. I am passionate about people and interested in different cultures. I participated in the Asian Media Association at TCU as well as the upbringing of the Korean Cultural Appreciation Society. During my time at TCU, I studied abroad in Seoul, South Korea at Yonsei University, one of the top schools in Korea. I love creativity and expression is very important to me. Spring 2021, I was published in TCU's student art journal, "Eleven40Seven." Along with my other skills, I have years of experience in service and volunteering.
