Some of the main… Show more As an Application Support Specialist, I serve as a support liaison between the company and customers as I am responsible for resolving complex customer-related software issues associated with the use of Viewpoint’s accounting, service, and project management software. Modules currently support are Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, General Ledger, Headquarters, Job Billing, Job Cost and Project Management before joining the Vista Portal team recently. Some of the main responsibilities of this position include:· Analyze application data to assess performance and uncover complications that cause abnormalities.· Complete root cause analysis of reported concerns through live data and SQL research.· Develop and recommend resolutions within SOX compliance; once permission to run solution is obtained, seeing resolution implemented.· Developing solution guides to explain troubleshooting steps and common solutions for colleagues and customers to use in the form of Knowledge Base articles and specialized solution documents.· Create and complete initial testing of new Issues for presentation to Research and Development.· Understanding technical concepts and communicating them clearly to individuals with varied backgrounds and skill levels.
