I have been a registered trade mark agent since 2003, recognized to practice before both the Canadian Intellectual Property Office and the United States Patent and Trademark Office. I have been with Coastal Trademark Services since 2002. I have over eight years of experience in the field of intellectual property, specializing in trade mark prosecution as well as domestic and international intellectual property portfolio management. I advise Canadian and foreign clients on regular and complex trade mark issues, including searching, filing, prosecution, opposition and registration of trade marks. In addition to assisting with the development of the on-line trademark agent training program offered through Intellectual Property Institute of Canada, I was also an instructor.
