CurrentPUBLIC ART DESIGN PROGRAM Public Art Design Program Management Manages the design process to ensure productivity of the artist/designers while overseeing five stages in the design process: programming, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and contract administration. Coordinates the development of comprehensive strategies and approaches for the Public Art Master Plan. Responsible for conducting independent research studies and making recommendations on complex administrative projects and problems. Provides project managers (artists) with technical and administrative process management.Assesses city public art design managerial marketing needs and conceptualizes, develops, implements documentation and manages strategic communications campaigns and projects that reach, informs and involves residents and/or targeted audiences. Plans, implements, acquires and oversees the City’s public Art Design Program.Manages complex, multi-year public art and CIP percent projects with multiple departments CIP Program Managers, and outside agencies, contractors, and design professionals.DIGITAL MEDIA PROGRAM Oversees and ensures consistency among City departments on social networking platforms. Implements and maintains social media policies, documents, templates, and graphics to produce and post to networks. Oversees and coordinates social media content. Performs updates of the site including graphic enhancement, content, photographs and other detailed documents; maintains and incorporates new technology trends, features, and functions into the sites. Oversees the city's website, including the update of content. Researches and implements website development and design strategy, including intense research analysis by maintaining and incorporating new web technology, features, and functions into the websites.
