Selected as one of 20 summer undergraduate research fellows (SURFs) for the Mellon Initiative for Undergraduate Research in the Arts and Humanities (a 10-week summer program established at Trinity University to fund undergraduate research projects in the arts and humanities fields)- Assisted Claudia Stokes, professor of English and my faculty mentor, with the preparing of a scholarly edition of Harriet Beecher Stowe's 1874 book "Woman in Sacred History" - Researched, using secondary sources and her letters, the life of HBS and the context in which "Woman in Sacred History" was published- Digitized an 1874 copy of "Woman in Sacred History" and collated it against different editions- Prepared an eight-minute oral presentation on my research findings and pathways for future research- Presented my research at the 2022 Undergraduate Summer Research Symposium (at Trinity)
