Here I enjoy a challenging and varied role in which I chair the environmental and ethics steering committee and centralising triple bottom line performance whilst reporting directly into the Management Board. Within this capacity, I have successfully established, implemented and developed a Sustainability Department within the brand to meet sustainability objectives. Of my many accomplishments within this role, I created and implemented a legacy giving programme to increase employee engagement through a volunteering scheme across retail, warehouse and head office. I also developed strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a collaborative approach for responsible business practices across Seasalt’s operations to be continuously improved. I additionally supported the business to deliver plastic free consumer packaging, ensuring that environmental objectives were met and achieved. Furthermore, I championed the provision of expertise, direction and focus to Product Teams to influence the longer-term product strategy to align with the business’s sustainability agenda. A key element of my role is to collaborate with third-party expertise to support measuring the businesses Carbon Footprint and putting forward recommendations to the business. For this, I hold full responsibility for eng aging with the brand team to educate, communicate and influence internal stakeholders as well as customers on the brand's sustainability ethos. Championing a holistic approach, I established and implemented sustainability plans, understanding the sustainable advantages and acting as an In-House Consultant whilst working with cross-functional teams across the business including Procurement, Logistics, Design, Technical, Operations, Marketing and HR.

As a consultant, I provided key support as an SME in Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability, actively managing a diverse client portfolio across a range of sectors. Within this capacity, I designed, developed and implemented a ‘Corporate Social Responsibility’ service to screen SME clients for any negative environmental and social impact, performed detailed analysis and made key recommendations to reduce the impact within their operations. I held full responsibility for translating analysis to communicate effectively to key stakeholders within the organisation and publishing 'CSR reports' for the private sector to use as a marketing tool with their stakeholders. During this time, I researched, developed and published research reports for multinational corporate members that included 'Employee Volunteering Best Practices’, 'Comparison of Strategic Philanthropy across Europe, Asia and USA'. I also played a key role within researching and analysing public online communications to grade the water usage of corporates across a wide variety of industries for financial investment clients. I additionally championed the identification of efficiency opportunities across operations across various types of organisations to reduce repetitional risk and identify cost savings.

Working closely with the Product Developer, Design and Technical Teams, I provided key support within the creation of accurate technical production packs for factory production as all information from product components to measurements needed to be accurate at all times. Within this role, I negotiated component costs with Sourcing Agent and managed tasks across a wide range of times zones that included China, India and the USA. I also managed and established volunteering scheme within the International Design Centre (IDC) resulting in increased employee engagement from 33% to 169% in 1 year. During this time, I was recognised for winning a global company award, acting as an Ambassador of the business and driving the Voluntary activities. Furthermore, I developed and implemented new buying processes to enhance efficiencies, taking the process from 5 days a week to 1 day a week.
