David Deaton brings over thirty-five (35) years of broad-based business management experience to "Synergy" Corporation at its Houston, Texas headquarters. David’s career includes positions in sales management, business development, and executive management at a variety of companies supplying both products and services to the Upstream, Midstream, and Downstream components of the energy industry. He has worked for both publicly and privately owned firms headquartered in the United States and Western Europe and has travelled extensively in North America (including Canada), South America, and Western Europe. Most recently he was President of Vector International USA, Inc., a manufacturer of specialty connector products for offshore, subsea, and industrial applications.David has worked for companies in manufacturing, distribution, and web-based e-commerce marketplaces serving the E&P, Refining, Petrochemical, Pulp and Paper, and EPC industries. He has also been involved in M&A activities for both publicly traded companies as well as those owned by private equity groups.David was a consultant that worked with a major petrochemical company on a supply chain optimization project on their purchase-to-pay initiative. He has also solicited project business and has established long term supply agreements for goods and services with customers including: Shell, ExxonMobil, BP, Valero, Phillips 66, Chevron, Koch , Dow, , Huntsman, Air Products, Celanese, International Paper, Fluor, Bechtel, Jacobs, , KBR, Intec Engineering, ABB, S&B, and Worley .Specialties: David’s consulting practice with Synergy focuses on all aspects of the energy industry as well as general management searches for medium and Fortune 500 class enterprises.
