    In my three years at the Alzheimer's Association, the Silicon Valley Walk to End Alzheimer's was the number one walk in the country in 2020, 2021, and 2022. The Alzheimer's Association's Walk to End Alzheimer's is also the number two peer-to-peer fundraiser in the country.The 2022 Silicon Valley Walk broke records, raising over $1.8 million, beating the 2021 Silicon Valley Walk record of over $1.6 million, and the 2020 Walk raised over $1.5 million during a pandemic and in a virtual walk.Top family and friends teams raised over $25,000 each, with the number one team donating over $700,000. Top corporate teams raised between $25,000 and $150,000. The top sponsor donated $25,000, with the average sponsorship between $4,000 and $12,000.I was promoted to Sr. Walk Director in February 2020, one month before the pandemic closed down all offices. Together, these two walks brought in over $400K in revenue and had almost 1500 participants.Volunteer Recruitment• Supported and gained trust of two vastly different volunteer committees by collaborating with existing members and recruiting additional volunteers. As the third Walk Manager in less than 2 years, this was delicate situation.• Listened to the needs of both committees and addressed the most critical needs.• Recruited 4 new committee members in Monterey• Recruited 6 new committee members in Santa Cruz Corporate Team and Sponsorship Success• Responsible for cultivating new sponsors, donors, and volunteers through increased community awareness via community outreach.• 2019 - Utilizing personal connections, team & sponsor cultivation, and coaching that resulted in revenue of $24,830 in Santa Cruz and $24,695 in Monterey (including $10K EOY donation from the Lowder Foundation)2019 Walk results• Santa Cruz ended the year just over $285K, 122% of goal. The best year in the twenty-five year history of this walk. • 2019 goal of $235K was met one week prior to Walk Day • Increased revenue 37% from 2018. • In Monterey, we had a challenging year but still came in at 83% of goal at just over $153K.In my role I support our volunteer committee and cultivate sponsors, donors, and corporate and community awareness.Utilizing over 15 years of Project Management, Operations, Strategic, and Communication skills from past corporate jobs, I bring a unique perspective to the non-profit space. Having been a caregiver for my mother who passed away from complications of Alzheimer's in 2018 gives me a connection to the cause and enables me to engage with the public on a deeply personal level.
