⚙️ I left SF State with a demonstrable track record of identifying strategic gaps/opportunities and advocating for and designing effective solutions. ⚙️ Our instructional design team collaboratively designed and facilitated effective, engaging learning experiences for faculty, grounded in Universal Design for Learning (UDL)⚙️ During the pandemic, we facilitated an online course called The Online Teaching Lab (OTL), which provided a research-based foundation in effective online teaching to over 1,400 faculty. • Collaborated with bestselling authors to develop educational content (video, animations, simulations) for online homework/tutoring website: www.masteringchemistry.com (growth from 107,355 student registrations in 2006 to 1,608,834 in 2012)• Recruited and led Faculty Advisory Boards to ensure online products met core teaching and learning challenges • Developed and documented pedagogical and editorial standards, production and authoring workflows, and training processes• Presented product demos and training sessions for faculty, authors, and the national sales force• Recruited, trained and led a staff of five creative problem solvers

• Establish editorial plan, vision and theme for each issue• Assign and edit articles by freelance writers, illustrators and photographers

• Conducted reviews and market research to provide market-oriented feedback for authors• Recruited and managed authors to ensure quality, accuracy, and timely execution of development plans

• Independently facilitate the daily operations of the university’s largest department • Monitor bookkeeping for 16 budget accounts, including recommendations for expenditures and budget forecasting for the fiscal year• Appoint 23 graduate teaching associates, graduate assistants, student assistants and work-study students• Liaison between the Department Chair, the College Office, faculty, students, administrators and the community regarding the Psychology Department

• Provide instructionally related administrative and logistical support for the Dean of the College of BSS, the Associate Dean and the Academic Operations Coordinator within university deadlines and budgets• Proofread class schedules and grades, the Dean’s correspondence and promotional and informational materials from the Dean’s Office• Provide a central source of information for faculty, students and staff to the programs, procedures, and policies of the College of BSS and SFSU
