 Developed novel turbulence modeling techniques to simulate high Reynolds number separated unsteady flows.  Worked in projects funded by Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) / Dayton Area Graduate Studies Institute (DAGSI), NASA, and the Ohio Aerospace Institute (OAI). Performed detail aerodynamic investigation of unsteady high speed flows and aeroacoustics, analysis of high fidelity turbulence models in parallel CFD solvers such as FDL3DI and US-WIND. Studied aerodynamic behavior of actuators for flow control and explored their effectiveness in noise attenuation. Analyzed high bypass engine fan aerodynamics at off-normal condition using CFD tools.  Simulated multiphase gas-droplet flow and icing in the low pressure subsystem (fan and booster compressors). Coherent Structure Identification and flow control For High Speed Flows in Gas Turbine engines, weapon bay and separated flow in low pressure turbines. Performed experiments in heat transfer and aerodynamics laboratory as a part of teaching assignment
