Working as an academic, technical, clinical and administrative head of Transfusion Medicine department.Initiated the post graduate programme (M.D.) in Transfusion Medicine at SCTIMST- the first post graduate programme in the institute.

Same responsibility as that of Program Director (Blood Safety) with CHF International.Participated in all United State President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) meetings conducted by CDC-Kenya and presented the activities related to Blood Safety programme of Kenya.

• Worked in partnership with the African Society for Blood Transfusions, Kenya (AfSBTK), to provide expert technical assistance and support to National Blood Transfusion Services of the Government of Kenya in order to ensure the adequate and timely support of safe blood and blood supplies to health facilities in Kenya.• Managed a team of 10 people working with CHF International/Kenya as a supervisory head.• Provided technical support on policy development, program planning and implementation, proper budget management, timely procurement of materials, training, program management of Blood Safety activities and coordination to Kenya National Blood Transfusion Service (KNBTS). Ensure compliance of project’s implementation with quality, safety, and environmental standards. • Developed detailed work plans and ensures effective coordination and integration of blood safety activities with Kenya National Blood Transfusion Service (KNBTS).• Assisted in development, pilot testing, dissemination and implementation of modules for Blood Safety.• Assisted KNBTS, AfSBTK and other affiliates with proposal development..• Developed modules for Blood Safety training program for Blood Bank Medical Officers, Clinicians, Technicians and Nurses.• Conducted training programmes for Clinicians, Blood Bank Physicians, Technicians, Nurses, Donor Recruiter on various topics related to Blood Transfusion and Clinical Transfusion Medicine• Developed Guidelines for KNBTS on Donor Motivation & Recruitment, Donor Counseling & Notification, Donor Selection & Care, Testing logarithm for Transfusion Transmitted Infections, Immunohematology, Blood Components, Quality & Bio-safety manuals, Hospital Transfusion Committee, Disaster Management Plan and Post Exposure Prophylaxis.• Participated in meetings with the Ministry of Medical Services, Kenya, AfSBTK, KNBTS, CDC and other organizations to discuss blood safety issues.

Deputed to National AIDS Control Organisation (NACO), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India as a National Programme Officer
