My responsibilities include mentoring, advising, modeling lessons, and providing professional support and feedback for teachers in the East Dallas schools, who are earning an alternative certification in education.

As Area Director for People to People Student Ambassador Program my job is to interview, select, manage and train teacher leaders, throughout the DFW area, who are committed to excellence in supporting the program and providing students with professional expertise, as they travel on carefully orchestrated educational programs. These outstanding programs are constructed with academic and cultural curriculum for students grades five through twelve. Teacher leaders promote and encourage student invitations, student interviews, student selection, and student educational foundations prior to travel. Leaders provide parents and student delegates with vital program information, weekly communication about pre-travel, and expert support throughout the year prior to travel. Leaders also travel with their delegation to the country or countries which are selected, providing safe and sound decisions for all students. My position also affords me the opportunity to make lasting relationships with teacher leaders, delegates and parents of delegates with superior support from the program office in Spokane, Washington.
