I have had the honour of working in Russia since 1998 with orphaned and abandoned children as CEO and founder of the Children's Charity, To Children With Love. Myself and my team have been rebuilding young lives and creating new pathways to a stable and brighter future for each individual child. I have recently co-designed a similar project in Ireland with disadvantaged Irish childrenI was awarded the Rehab International Person of the Year award, Social Entrepreneur Award from Women Mean Business, and also has a second Social Entrepreneur award from the hugely popular Image Magazine. I have also been honoured by UNESCO in Moscow and presented with a Tolerance award for her years of work with disadvantaged children and young adults.My background is in Retail Management, and we successfully opened Ireland's Award winning charity shop, With Love, which was a life line for her charity work at a time when recession hit hardest. With Love, is about to open a new Store in Portmarnock Dublin in the following weeks. All proceeds support the Charity's work.I have been the recipient of many prestigious awards in Russia as well as Ireland, but what is most important to me is seeing change and a difference being made. This is my driving force. Through my work I have experienced that my passion, work ethic, ability to work across borders, my ability to manage a multi Disciplinary team, my vision, and sense of purpose brings many along with me to achieve the goal and create the continuing success and life changing programmes that effect many lives every day. I am also a certified Life Coach and Motivational speaker. I am the author of two books I have featured recently on the popular blog Humans of Dublin .I believe that ordinary people, like myself, can realise that they can do more than they ever dreamed of, make change in a world that needs change and get extraordinary results.I believe that anyone can find their purpose in life, you just need to take that first step.

To Russia with Love is a charity helping Russian orphans in a number of regions across the Russian Federation but predominantly in the Bryansk Region in Western Russia. What started off in 1998 as one woman's promise to a child that she would come back to hug and kiss them has grown into a successful charity doing life changing work with thousands of orphaned and abandoned children across the Russian Federation! Buildings have been rebuilt, care and education programs developed, staff hired, and children loved! Our credo is that we believe children without parents deserve the same rights and entitlements as all children and so we develop programs of care in line with this. If any family child is entitled to something then we want the children we work with who do not have families to have the same! This belief is what has led to our best practice standards of psychological, medical, dental and educational care that we are so proud of.
