I have always been fascinated by photography and the story behind the pictures. Journalism is just as important and we are living in a time where visuals are the most effective form of communication. Standing out can be difficult when up against people who are way more experienced and recognizable, but I want to be memorable in the work that I do. I want to take a picture and have it be impactful for those around me.I understand it will be a difficult job to stand out from plenty of other photographers and journalists but being able to tell and show the truth through visuals is important. It is important for our future to understand and comprehend what happened and the best way to do this is by being present, armed with a pen, paper, and a camera to tell that story.
