During my time at Xplor I have grown as a teacher. Coming in to this country and finding a teaching position was difficult but at Xplor's I was given the chance to become a better teacher. I began as an assistant teacher; aiding the lead in day to day activities but within two months was promoted to a lead position in their Pre-K classroom. I was in charge of the running of the class. All classes are important but with this class being a step in to Kindergarten it was important to make sure the children are equipped and ready for their next journey. I have a close relationship with parents also and enable them to communicate with me whenever they have a question or concern. It is a job that I take very seriously and I enjoy watching as the children learn new skills and achieve new goals.
