As Letter Writing Team Leader I am responsible for managing the Letter Writing Team and EPALS for Soldiers’ Angels. I ensure proper level of oversight and support for group leaders and volunteers. Responsible for leveraging volunteers to grow and improve service delivery for deployed service members, to establish the necessary policies and procedures to ensure a consistent quality of service, and to set clear expectations of the group leaders and volunteers. My responsible include the supervision of at least 1,000 Letter Writing team volunteers as well as 11 group leaders. Direct supervision of the E-pal program and e-pal volunteers. Maintain and update all team members in the Angel database. Offer volunteer recognition, incentives, and promotional products to ensure volunteers receive the best available support for the work they do. Communicate stories, pictures, quotes and team statistics to Online Communications Manager. Create a positive environment where two-way communication and strong trust are established. Ensure team members are fully trained on the skills necessary for them to succeed.

Manage a team of 100+ angels. Aid in helping them with their accounts and answering questions
