Before qualifying as a mediator in 2014, I worked as a solicitor and for the Citizens Advice Bureau. As a family mediator I support separated families to find practical solutions regarding their children and/or finances, avoiding adversarial court proceedings. I draw on my past experience to provide a professional and constructive service to clients.I am friendly and approachable and always aim to make clients feel safe and at ease, working in a sensitive and impartial way. I show empathy and understanding and manage difficult dynamics in order to help clients fully engage in the mediation process. I encourage clients to have a future focus and to improve communication, which can lead to more positive discussions and problem solving. I am a member of the ADRgroup and accredited with the Legal aid Agency and Family Mediation Council. I currently undertake private family mediation and legal aid mediation through Compass Resolution.
