Proud to join the Placer SPCA's team of dedicated staff and volunteers serving the animals and people of our community. Placer SPCA is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to facilitating the humane treatment of animals in Placer County. In my role I am focused on working with our philanthropic community to help ensure the resources are available now and in the future for the many innovative programs at Placer SPCA that enhance animal well-being and support the human-animal bond.

The North Shore Animal League America is a world leader in animal rescue and adoption. My primary role focused on planning and executing all aspects of their national planned giving program. This included direct cultivation/stewardship of donors, managing the estate process, along with creating and implementing a marketing plan to encourage membership in the legacy society. Secondary roles included event planning, major gift goals, and supervision of one employee.

Pnw/National

My most recent role was focused on major gift fundraising and planned giving primarily in the Pacific Northwest. (Oregon, Washington, Idaho) With direct face to face visits and stewardship, I was able to help donors make an even greater impact and increase fundraising revenue annually. Highlights include: - Developed and executed plan for increasing fundraising revenue from donors in the PNW. - Served on a committee of the board focused on fundraising activities including individual solicitations and stewardship. - Worked with corporations and foundations in the PNW to bring in special event sponsorships and gifts for capital and operational expenses. - Led volunteer committees to host special events with a goal of both fundraising and community awareness. - Represented GDB in the Portland and Seattle areas including speaking at engagements and participating in local planned giving conferences.

As Associate Executive Director I managed the administrative staff and was responsible for supporting all aspects of fundraising in the PNW. Besides the joy of the human/animal bond and serving diverse and wonderful clients from North America - what kept me passionate about Guide Dogs is the amazing volunteers, staff, and board leadership I got to work with everyday. My role included management duties, budgeting and strategic planning, event planning including execution of fundraising events, oversight of third party community events, individual and corporate donor cultivation and stewardship, IT support, volunteer management, and relationship building in community.
