Managed the day to day running of the branch to include staff training, rotas, cash ordering, replenishment of stationery and appraisals. I was also the main interviewer in the branch for mortgages and further advances. I was answerable to the Branch Manager and as s team we used to visit local estate agents and mortgage brokers to encourage referrals for mortgages etc.

I started on the counter learning the basics of cashiering. After that I went on to interview customers for bank accounts, credit cards, loans and savings. I was also sales manager and it was my role to plan sales campaigns and initiatives. Once I had a full knowledge of the products and branch procedures I was ready for the position of Assistant Bank Manager.
