Worked on the Management Information Reporting (MIR) conversion project. This was a complete conversion of customer-requested reports from one billing system to another. Unique code needed to be developed to handle the various reports and combinations of reports. Front-end and back-end processing was also developed. Created documentation including outline of new process and flows. A team of 8 individuals worked on this multi-level project over a 1.5-year project, including 3 months of parallel testing.Created customized detail reports for auditing team to balance billing statements prior to customer receipt.Converted all ad-hoc tax jobs to production standards and scheduling through CA-7 and ran all tax jobs and reports needed to bill customers according to government standards.Responsible for implementing new contract rates for each customer and changing reporting accordingly.Ran all reports for one year's worth of reconciliation based on new rates that were not applied and issued a credit. Provided all reports to support credits to auditing team;Special Customer Arrangements Problem Resolution (SCAPR) dedicated to high-dollar customers. GS2000 relies on VSAM and DB2 files with top-down referencing. The CPU uses a multi-variable system accommodating 3420 tape drives, 3480 cartridges, and 3390 DASD controllers.
