PLJV is a regional partnership of federal and state wildlife agencies, conservation groups, corporations, and private citizens dedicated to conserving migratory bird habitats in the Southern High Plains. I was hired as PLJV's first Communications Team Leader in 2002 and led the development of the organization's first website, branding, e-newsletter, and media relations program, plus developed and produced the Playa Country radio series and "Playas: Reflections of Life on the Plains" educational video. I also chaired PLJV's Education and Outreach Team and was a founding member of the Joint Venture Communications, Education, and Outreach (JVCEO) team - a working committee of communications professionals from all USFWS Migratory Bird Joint Ventures in North America.

Excite@Home (formerly @Home Network) was the first company to provide broadband cable internet service to residential subscribers. I was a member of the original creative team that developed daily broadband online media experiences for customers, producing content for the News and Lifestyle channels.

Edited the Net Surf section and contributed feature articles to Wired UK magazine, a cooperative publication of Wired US and The Guardian Newspaper of London.
