I manage online content, social media and publicity for a land-locked beach bar co-owned and managed by my husband.

As a member of #TeamDigital, I manage email marketing, social media, mobile app and web content for the KU Alumni Association.Highlights:- Collaborated with two external partners for WordPress redesign and content migration (2012 and 2021)- Worked with external partner (MobileUp) to launch mobile app in 2016; implemented engagement strategy for alumni & students resulting in more than 50K downloads by January 2022- Managed ~1200 annual email campaigns including membership promotions, newsletters, events and university communications- Increased email open rates from 25% to 40% through consistent delivery of relevant content to segmented audiences- Developed and managed organizational social media strategy and execution

I managed the federal and private loan programs for students at KU. I counseled students & parents, processed loan applications and helped develop communications plans & publications related to loans. During 2008-2009, I was elected Vice President of the Kansas Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (KASFAA). My major responsibility was to plan & coordinate the program for two 3-day state conferences. In 2010, I served as the co-chair of the Lawrence site for College Goal Sunday, an event for financial aid professionals to assist high school students with financial aid applications.I was also a member of the Publications & Communications team. This team created and reviewed the office website, publications and coordinated Financial Aid Awareness Month.

I was promoted to Operations Supervisor in addition to maintaining all previous duties. I supervised & trained two full time operations staff members, wrote and maintained a policies and procedures manual and created a disaster recovery pan.I also assisted the Marketing Manager with print material development, website content, sales strategies and conference exhibits and materials. I continued to serve the Kansas Association of Student Financial Aid Professionals (KASFAA) on the conference planning committee.

I provided customer service to students, parents and school representatives; originated federal loans; performed loan maintenance functions such as payment posting, cancellations and demographic changes; and balanced general ledger accounts for a $60 million FFEL Program loan portfolio. I also served as on-site project manager for an FFEL loan system conversion that began in 2002. In this role, I participated in user acceptance testing; wrote & executed test scripts to develop new products such as online applications and instant credit decisioning; and prioritized system issues and enhancement requests.
