I am currently a residency student at TTU in Putnam county, TN. I graduate in May of 2021.I enjoy utilizing my creativity in the classroom via lesson plans and impromptu activities. I try to bring humor to situations and search for the way each student learns best so I can adjust my teaching method to fit their needs. I want my students to understand how what they are learning applies to the real world outside of school and potentially their career options. I teach my students how to find their own answers and embrace technology in the classroom. I try to incorporate various styles of learning for each topic: visual, auditory, video (moving visual as opposed to stationary), independent research and thought, and group interaction (kinesthetics).I come from a mixture of cultures and religions and show my students the same respect I would want to be shown as an individual, not just a student.
