I knew I wanted to be a notary and I knew I wanted to specialize in Estate Planning documents.Since making the natural pivot, I’ve expanded my expertise by completing advanced training and testing, and receiving the highly-regarded credential of Certified Notary Trust Delivery Agent (CNTDA), focused on the presentation and proper execution of Estate Planning documents.And if you haven’t heard of a CNTDA before, that’s no surprise…there aren’t many of us out here!But this is just one of the many ways I can assist you as a Notary Public. General notary work is always at hand, and I am here to serve!But enough about all that…there are other things “about” me!!Many know me as the founder and executive director of a national/international support organization for the cleft/craniofacial community.In the days before the “world wide web” there was something called the “three-ring binder.”And that’s where it all began. The journey for many of us with children born with cleft/craniofacial conditions was lonely and confusing. Even then, we somehow found each other, coming together as a community of like-minded parents, and some adults with facial differences, too.And then, the internet. What started as a small website and a small (but very active) listserv turned into one of the most important resources for education and inspiration, literally overnight. Oh, the things we’ve seen accomplished over the years.Most know me as a band mom. My kids are so talented, if I must say so myself! And that goes for all the young people I’ve met over the years and love so much, whether they were in middle or high school band or orchestra, college-level ensembles and marching band, or even at the highest level of the marching arts…drum corps. What a loving, dedicated group of children and young adults!Some know me as a volunteer. At church or around town. Small things that collectively add up to something good. And big things that I could have never dreamed would be possible, like launching and hosting the North American Craniofacial Family Conference (NACFC). Or establishing National Cleft & Craniofacial Awareness & Prevention Month (NCCAPM).Let’s get to know each other.Let’s do business.
