Seeking and securing government grants for energy efficiency improvements in lighting, heating, and construction materials. Oversee multiple solar panel installations producing 360+ MWH annually; help determine which properties would benefit from a solar installation; run routine maintenance checks on solar hot water heaters; compile data on solar performance; analyze compiled data to determine cost benefit analysis of adding new panels; facilitate net energy billing agreements between power company and employer; seek/submit/receive RFP for EV Chargers, communicate regularly with power company to determine the best legal agreement options regarding solar installations, implement and oversee recycling programs for soft film plastics, seek and facilitate Renewable Energy Credit (RECs) agreements to generate income, unusable textiles and medical equipment; attend and speak at Town Council and Town Planning Board meetings; lead Safety and Wellness committee; conduct annual property/building inspections; conduct annual maintenance visits to residents homes and develop maintenance plans aligning with company sustainability goals, consult with residents who are interested in reducing carbon and water footprints, work with multiple vendors to seek information for energy audits in an ongoing effort to achieve the goal of electrification of all buildings on campus; oversee installation of native wildflower/pollinator habitat; advise on the procurement of electric vehicles and potentially using electric vehicles to power homes during power outages; research and understand home batteries as an alternative to generators; and seek out offsite carbon offset initiatives.
