Responsibilities included working on special projects and assisting in education presentations for the 292-acre nature preserve complex that also includes wetlands and ponds. The education at this facility helped teach all age groups about nature that surrounds them and do outreach to surrounding communities. As part of this internship, I helped outdoor educators lead classes on snowshoeing, skiing, tracking, wildlife during winter, wildlife underwater, and ecology.
