My work experience is set at the intersection of environmental compliance and sustainability. I've worked with a variety of programs in all media, from regulated and municipal waste management to air quality and stormwater monitoring. I've also worked in the implementation of ISO 14001 certified environmental management systems, energy conservation and on wildlife protection and ecological restoration programs. In all my roles over the years I've been a point of contact with regulatory agencies responding to inquiries on environmental programs. Since 2022 I've been working as the Environmental Protection Specialist for the Presidio Trust in San Francisco. In this role, I help to coordinate and manage several environmental compliance programs related to the Trust's operational activities. The Trust manages the Presidio of San Francisco in partnership with the National Park Service and Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy. Before joining the Trust I was the Business Environmental Leader for the Global Specialty Fulfillment organization at Amazon - where I managed a team that provided support on the execution of environmental compliance programs for over 280 facilities across the US. I joined Amazon after five years at Whole Foods Market as the Northern California and Southern Pacific Regions Environmental Programs Specialist.Prior to joining Whole Foods Market in 2015, I worked for Delaware North Companies - the main concession services in Yosemite National Park at the time (1993 - 2015). For 10 years I was part of the team that implemented and managed DNC's ISO 14001 certified environmental management system (EMS). There, I also had a chance to work collaboratively with the National Park Service and other entities on projects aimed at conserving resources and protecting wildlife.
