Affectionately known as “Debbi”, with over 35+ years of expertise in the industry of accounting. She is a leader, motivator, and focused achiever whose skills and talents has promoted her to excel.Debbi is the owner of Smith Accounting & Associates, LLC, founded February 6, 2008. SAS provides accounting and tax services for small business, start-ups, individuals, churches, clergy, and non-profit organizations. SAS prides itself on giving each client “Quality Individualized Care” with a focus to “promote, develop and empower organizations to become financially grounded and healthy”. Her passion and knowledge of accounting has been demonstrated on many occasions through various workshops, leadership conferences and seminars of which she personally participated.Her development and expertise are a result of her experience as a Staff Accountant for Certified Public Accounting firms, Church Administrator, Controller and Accounting Director for various companies. Debbi has also served as a Board of Director several organizations. Debbi received her education and certification at Atlanta Metropolitan College in Atlanta, GA. She enjoys travel, meeting people, nature, animals and more than anything, spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, and family.
