A seasoned registered nurse of 36 years; with in-depth knowledge of all facets of state and federal nursing home regulations, quality improvement, community health nursing( including home hospice), health care leadership and management. Seventeen years of undergraduate and graduate teaching experience with the adult learner in nursing and the health care science curriculum with the ability to facilitate classes in a classroom as well as an online learning environment. Retired as a major from the Army Reserves after 20 years of service. Possesses excellent leadership, communication and people skills. Capable of motivating people to perform at an optimal level in the work environment.
