I recently retired and am currently doing some nonprofit volunteer work, but mostly enjoying this new stage of life -- spending time with grandchildren and on my bridge, pickleball and golf games (in that order!). In my "first half", I had a 24-year corporate career managing change at Citicorp, in strategic planning, marketing, and new product development; in consumer services, information services, and private banking. I began my "second half" in the world of nonprofits, including as a board officer of the Harlem Partnership Project and the George Washington Carver Foundation in Norwalk. I finished this stage as a board member and Regional Director in Fairfield County for the National Executive Service Corps -- a nonprofit management consulting firm that empowers and strengthens its nonprofit clients.
