Role: Applied machine learning technical project manager at FAANG• Manage an ML platform that provides decisioning for fraud, compliance, operations, and identity for multiple lines of business• Collaborate with cross-functional business and data science teams to prioritize program roadmaps and platform enhancements backlog of 200+ by analyzing projects’ impacts and deadlines with efficiency• Lead team of 9 engineers to scope, forecast, and align projects’ requirements and timelines to agile sprints for execution and resolve delivery gaps/blockers/dependencies for releases• Translated technical detailed approaches into high level breakdowns, framework diagrams, and design playbacks/architecture BRDs for better visibility to teams and capture stakeholder sign-off• Identified opportunity to deliver a long-awaited program by generating a strategic roadmap for delivery; gained buy-in from executive stakeholders and team leads• Run weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly meetings to present status reports highlighting key program accomplishments, project milestones, and risks to Executive leadership and Engineering leads to ensure alignment• Utilized historical project metrics and ongoing performance monitoring to identify pain points and proactively predict potential risks, resulting in project efficiency and reduced disruptions• Optimize on-prem Hadoop storage, capacity, and compute constraints by tracking POC of migrating existing ML platform components, features, and service solutions to cloud in order to better support global machine learning use cases
