The Governance and Nomination Committee is a volunteer committee responsible for monitoring areas of risk, finance and governance for the Toronto CFA Society. The G&N committee is responsible for acting as a resource to the Board of the Toronto CFA Society in the form of development and oversight of the Society's chosen governance principles and the model that will ensure that these principles and process achieve the Board's aims.

Headed a team of eight portfolio managers and fourteen support and admin staff, overseeing $10 billion in segregated, pension and insurance company corporate assets.Lead manager of Empire Asset Allocation and Diversified Elite Equity Fund.Member of the Executive Leadership Team and Asset Liability Committee and reported quarterly to the Investment Committee of the Board from 2003 to 2009.Member of the Empire Life Board of Directors in 2005 and 2006.

Member of management team investing $3 billion in mutual funds, high net worth and pension accounts.

Head of of Canadian Equity Team managing all large capitalization Mutual Funds, Segregated Funds, Pension and Insurance Company General Assets invested in the Canadian Equity Market-$3.5 billion.Member of Asset Mix Committee and Management Committee.Co-ordination of Administration, Technology, Client Servicing and Corporate Development between Canadian Equity Team in Toronto and head office in Montreal.
